Meet Dr. Fine
I love being a pediatric dentist! It is such a special opportunity to meet so many incredible families, while helping each child feel at ease in the dental environment. With every interaction, I strive to show children that the dental office can be a fun and exciting place: there is nothing like seeing a previously anxious patient become an awesome and happy dental patient. I love inspiring kids and hopefully giving them the confidence to tackle whatever comes their way!
Our Team and Office
We have a great team. We truly enjoy each other’s company, and respect one another’s experience and insights. Therefore, working together is simply easy and fun. Our days flow smoothly, which is a great benefit to our patients and families.
Our office is unique in that we give each patient very specialized and individualized care. We pride ourselves in not recommending treatment blindly across the board. Rather, we cater our recommendations specifically for each child and their individual needs.
Education and Experience
I have been practicing dentistry for ten years. When I was growing up, in Merrick, New York, I loved going to the dentist. In particular, I loved my pediatric dentist. I saw how great she was and I always wanted to be just like her!
I attended Emory University, in Atlanta, Georgia, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I then moved to Florida and completed dental school at Nova Southeastern University, College of Dental Medicine, obtaining my Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, I pursued my childhood dream and completed a rigorous Pediatric Dental Specialty residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York.
As a pediatric dentist, I have the unique opportunity to visit nursery schools and chat with kids all about teeth, dental hygiene and their first visit to the dentist. It is so rewarding to share my knowledge with kids at such a young age, and to get them excited about their teeth! I also love giving talks to different mom groups, where I can share my knowledge regarding infant oral health and nutrition.
Professional Affiliations and Continuing Education
I am a Board Certified pediaitric dentist and a member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. I am also an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Through these organizations, I am able to continue to grow my knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as stay current with the latest developments in pediatric dentistry. Continuing professional education ensures I am providing evidence-based, high-quality treatment with a predictable outcome, for the best experience and results.
Beyond the Office
My favorite way to enjoy my free time is by spending quality time with my family! My husband Jared, who is an Oral Surgeon, our young son Oren, and our mini-Bernedoodle, Marco. On weekends you will find us playing in the parks with Oren. We also have a passion for travel!
